My Night in Pictures: Tabacco at Brooklyn Bowl

I went to see Tobacco play at Brooklyn Bowl Thursday night. He’s currently on the second half of his 2014 tour in support of his new record Ultima II Massage. The electronic wizard was joined by ambient rocker The Stargazer Lilies, who played cuts from their latest album, We Are The Dreamers, as well as Zackey Force Funk. Both did an exceptional job opening for the Black Moth Super Rainbow frontman. I COULD tell you how weird things got or you can just take a look at the pictures 😉

Yes, that’s Freddy Krueger getting laid, and is that The Seven Fields of Aphelion alongside Mr. Maniac Meat?

Shit I Dig: Desert Sharks

I don’t normally write about bands more than once (check out January’s 5 Musical Acts) but I’ve been listening to Desert Sharks’ Sister Cousins to prep myself for their performance tonight at Brooklyn Night Bazaar. Needless to say I’m in love with these chicks all over again and CAN NOT WAIT to see them live for the first time!

Desert Sharks

They’ve been quite the busy bunch; playing show all over Brooklyn the past couple of months and this is after a summer tour. Talk about Rock n’ Roll!

If you haven’t given Sister Cousins a listen you need to get on that. If you’re going to be in Brooklyn tonight be sure to stop by BK Night Bazaar and see the girls perform as part of a decent lineup (Dead Stars, Canon Logic and Bear Hands are all set to play as well.)

Follow Desert Sharks on Twitter, Facebook and be sure to visit their website.
